Whitby Beach
Whitby beach is a sandy and rocky beach backed up by the cliffs that dominate the area. It is a blue flag beach so there is something for everyone with fascinating rock pools to explore, spectacular cliffs steeped in history and clean sandy areas for those who want to relax in the summer sun whilst watching the world go by. Swimming is relatively safe and there is a lifeguard present in the peak summer months.
