This is a very large natural water with inlet streams and outlet streams around its length. It is open all year round and with a mixture of fish stocks, offers something for the angler all year round. There are 60 acres to have a go at and the lake averages a little over 4 foot deep in most places. The water used to be used for water skiing at one point due to the favourable depth. The water is well known locally for its very good nets of bream that are taken regularly. The open-ended crumb feeder fished accurately with worm and maggot as hook bait can account for 100lb plus bags. Day tickets 5.50, or 9.00 for two rods, 11.00 for three rods a day purchased prior to fishing from Mr Metcalf at Low Blean Farm, which is next to the lake. Fishing from Dawn until Dusk (no night fishing allowed). Open all year round.
