Bridlington

The historic fishing village of Bridlington is a wonderful destination for beach holidays. This town on the Yorkshire Heritage Coastline offers plenty of things to see and do, with great attractions for the whole family.

The North and South beaches of Bridlington enjoy beautiful views across the sea and their golden sands and clear seas have won them many accolades. The promenade is packed with children's rides and traditional amusements for all of the family to enjoy. Families will also enjoy the local 'Leisure World', just off the promenade with its excellent pools and slides.

Nearby, historic Bridlington Harbour is a wonderful place to see hints of the town's fishing heritage. The harbour is also the boarding point for many of the excellent sea cruises that tour the local area and allow visitors to marvel at the Heritage Coastline from the sea, its most beautiful vantage point. Many of these trips travel past the stunning Flamborough Head peninsula with its historic lighthouse.

One of Bridlington's landmark buildings is the beautiful Bridlington spa, which has been regenerated to become a modern events venue. Once a Victorian concert hall, the original character of the building has been wonderfully maintained. This venue now hosts some fantastic theatre, comedy and sports events that draw in visitors from far and wide.
