Dove Cottage is a delightful character cottage nestling in a peaceful location in the historical market town of Barnard Castle. The cottage is only a short stroll from the town centre which has numerous bars and restaurants. Great care has been taken in the refurbishment of this compact cottage to ensure a cosy and welcoming holiday.

Heated by slim line wall mounted electric heaters, Dove Cottage comprises:
Lounge/dining/kitchen: With gas stove, colour TV with freeview, DVD and radio/CD. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with icebox.
First floor
Bedroom 1: Master double bedroom with colour TV.
Bedroom 2: Small twin bedroom with 2'6" beds, particularly suitable for children.
Shower room: With shower and hand basin.
Separate WC.
Facilities
All fuel, power, bed linen for all beds and towels included. Sorry no cot available.
Miscellaneous
Pebbled patio with garden furniture to the front of the house. On street parking. Two well behaved pets welcome but they must be restricted to the ground floor rooms.

About the local area
Barnard Castle is located at the gateway to Teesdale and is a perfect location for exploring by car the numerous attractions on offer in the North of England: Durham Cathedral, the unspoilt coastline and castles of Northumberland, Beamish Museum and the Lake District. Bowes Museum which replicates a typical French Chateau is only 500 yards from the cottage and there are also excellent local walks and fishing.
