Underfloor heating and a log burner ensure a cosy, welcoming feel. Barnville is 'home from home', extremely well equipped with everything couples should need to enjoy a perfect holiday. The stunning 1.5 acres of enclosed woodland gardens and lawns, with summer house, sunken garden and wildlife pond, are particularly beautiful in Spring, with naturalised bulb plantings, rhododendron, magnolia and cherry blossom, and again in Autumn when the fiery colours of acer, azalea and flowering dogwood predominate. The property and garden are beautiful, equipped with everything you need to make your holiday comfortable. It was our second visit and we are planning to book for next year as there is still plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area. The countryside is stunning.

The big, very pretty and secure garden is a huge bonus for those holidaying with dogs. It was amazing to be able to let them out knowing they could run around securely and that there was such a big space for them to enjoy. It was lovely for the humans too, especially to see so many different birds!

This property is by far the best we have stayed in. Everything about it is to the highest possible specification and the owners really have thought of absolutely everything that someone may need during their stay. The gardens looked amazing, albeit they got covered in snow within 24 hours of us arriving, but overall I can't speak highly enough of the property.
