Description

These two charming barn conversions have been recently renovated into modern comfortable accommodation are perfectly positioned near Carlton village in Stokesley.  They are situated on a working stud farm with Welsh mountain ponies. They have breath-taking views overlooking Cringle Moor and the famous Wainstones on the Cleveland Way.  They have both been lovingly decorated and furnished to a particularly high standard and offer excellent accommodation to couples and families.   The modern underfloor heating system and solar panels ensure the property is very well heated at all times. 
Byre Cottage can be booked separately for 4 people or together with Dairy Cottage for larger parties or reunions for families and friends.

The village of Carlton is less than a mile away where there is a famous cafe and tea room built into the moor at the top of Carlton Bank, in the Cleveland Hills and has stunning views of Teesside and the east coast. The elegant market town of Stokesley is just 3 miles away and is situated on the River Leven at the foot of the Cleveland Hills and is the gateway to the Moors and the East Yorkshire coast. Nearby is the beautiful village of Great Ayton (childhood home of the explorer Captain James Cook) and is perfect for a picnic and for feeding the ducks, and the nearby village of Chop Gate in Bilsdale with its widely renowned spectacular views. The area is a haven for keen walkers and cycle enthusiasts with some challenging pathways and cycle tracks right on your doorstep.
