Situated opposite the river that runs through the beautiful town of Great Ayton is this charming cottage. It has been recently renovated and has been finished to a very high standard. It has everything you should need to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing holiday in an ideal setting. The patio area at the back of the cottage is perfect to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun.

All power, heating, bed linen and towels are provided. 2 well behaved dogs accepted. Cot and Highchair available.

About the local area
There are numerous pathways and cycle tracks for keen ramblers and cycle enthusiasts direct from the cottage including walks around Roseberry Topping and the Captain Cooks Monument, and not to forget that part of the famous Lyke Wake Walk passes nearby where you appreciate some breath-taking views. Great Ayton lies at the foot of the Cleveland Hills and is surrounded in stunning scenery, it also steeped in history especially with its connections with Captain Cook as the nearby church is where Captain Cooks’ mother is buried and there is also a Museum in the town that used to be Captain Cook’s schoolroom. There are numerous market towns close by, including Stokesley, Guisborough and Northallerton, whilst the seaside towns of the popular East Coast are a short drive away.
