Description

The Tree House is a lovely detached property that has recently been converted into a delightful, modern property. It has a cosy welcoming feel to it and is deceptively larger inside than it appears outside. It is positioned in a wonderful location in the North Yorkshire Moors in the peaceful, tranquil village of Grosmont. It is a paradise for walkers and train lovers as you can view the passing trains at a distance from the decked patio area outside the property which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding on a summers evening.

About the local area

There are some excellent pathways and cycle tracks close by including a beautiful picturesque walk from Grosmont to Gothland (otherwise known as Heartbeat Country) where you can have a refreshing drink at the Birch Hall Inn in the Moors hamlet of Beck Hole which has been untouched by time and indeed looks the same today as it did in the 1900s and indeed in the 1800s. If you want to travel further but still want to leave the car behind why not take the North York Moors Steam train just 150 yards from your door which will take you past some spectacular scenery stopping off at Goathland, Levisham and finally the lovely market town of Pickering. The coastal resorts of Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby are all less than 10 miles away and are ideal for a day out at the seaside with lots of events and attractions all year round.

We were greeted by John as soon as we arrived who made us feel immediately at home. My wife and I were knocked back the cleanliness and the amenities provided. We have stayed in a few cottages in the past which were nowhere as nice as yours and we will certainly recommend it to anyone. Thank you.
