Nestled in the pretty village of Wold Newton, April Cottage is a traditional cottage ideal for couples or a family. The cottage is spacious and welcoming with a woodburner in the lounge, and is fully equipped to ensure an excellent stay. To the rear, a decked area with garden furniture provides a quiet area to relax in this most tranquil village.
Wold Newton is quietly situated within miles of rolling fields. A short stroll takes you to the village duck pond and pub serving food. The Yorkshire Wolds are perfect for cyclists and walkers to enjoy the relatively flat undulating landscapes. To the west, the coastal town of Hunmanby Gap is just five miles from Wold Newton offering a wide expanse of sandy beaches and lovely cliff top walks with far reaching views. The town of Scarborough is around ten miles away with attractions such as Peasholm Park where you may hire rowing boats, the Miniature Railway and the Scarborough Sea Life Centre, not to mention arcades and amusements. Golf and horse riding can all be accessed locally, along with other coastal towns of Filey, Bridlington and Flamborough.
