Hiawatha is positioned in the quiet, picturesque village of Scalby near Scarborough. It is a spacious, well equipped cottage offering the perfect base for couples and families looking to explore this beautiful area of the Yorkshire Coast. It is within easy reach of all the attractions Scarborough has to offer including the historic castle, the lovely promenade and and beach and ample amusements and Sea Life Centre for the kids to enjoy. There are numerous activities close by including swimming, fishing, golf, tennis, badminton, go-carting and lots more. Scalby itself has a selection of pubs and shops and is ideal for walkers and cycle enthusiasts with some excellent pathwas and cycle tracks direct from the door where you can appreciate the surrounding countryside. The historic town of Whitby is just 18 miles away where Bram Stoker was inspired to write the novel Dracula. and is also famous for it's fish and chips - claimed to be the 'best fish and chips in Britain' by Rick Stein, the famous sea food chef.
