Quietly situated on a working farm on the outskirts of the village of Brompton on Sawdon, 8 miles from the popular seaside town of Scarborough, The Granary is a delightful semi detached barn conversion perfectly suited to couples or a small family. The Granary is upside down in layout; with the open plan living space on the first floor making good use of the original beams, space and view towards the coast. The large bedroom has en suite facilities and is furnished and decorated to a high standard.

The nearby village of Sawdon has an excellent pub with restaurant and a 9 hole golf course close to the farm. Brompton village is within walking distance and is well known for its picturesque church, as Wordsworth was married here. Brompton also includes a shop, pub and restaurant. The Granary is an ideal base for walkers and bikers being so close to Wykeham Forest and the North York Moors.
Sightseeing enthusiasts can visit Castle Howard and the Historic City of York. Nearby market towns of Pickering, Malton and Helmsley are well worth a visit. The North York Moors Steam Railway can also be accessed from Pickering station taking you on a scenic tour of the stunning moors and villages in (Heartbeat country) on its way up to Whitby.
