Greystones is a traditional, well equipped bungalow nestled in the attractive rural village of Sleights, just two miles south west of Whitby. It has a welcoming, 'home from home' feeling and the sun room that is situated off the master bedroom is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine whilst doing a spot of bird watching. It is an ideal base for families and couples looking to explore this beautiful area of Moors and Coast. There are plenty of walks and cycle tracks close by for keen ramblers and dog walkers. The Esk Valley, which is right on your doorstep boasts some of the most stunning and varied scenery, which can be appreciated on the North Yorkshire Moors steam train, which picks up just 1/2 mile from the property and will take you to the market town of Pickering, stopping off at Grosmont and Goathland (also known as Heartbeat country).

The historic fishing town of Whitby has plenty to offer for adults and children with a large selection of pubs, quaint antique and gift shops, the infamous fish and chip shops and 3 miles of golden sandy beach along to Sandsend and amusements. You can take a trip on one of the fishing boats that will take you out and around the harbour where you can appreciate the views of the stunning Abbey and St Mary's Church. There are plenty of stunning coastal villages to visit including Robin Hood's Bay, Runswick Bay and Staithes are all within easy reach.
