Oasis Cottage is a delightful cottage tucked away in a secluded position yet only a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the heart of Whitby. The cottage has an abundance of character and charm with traditional decor and furnishings throughout, making your stay here a very comfortable one. A spiral staircase leads up to two floors from the lounge to the three bedrooms and bathroom. Oasis Cottage has the fortune of having two private parking places which is a rarity so close to the centre of the town. The enclosed patio area which is south facing enjoys the sun all day and is a perfect place to sit and relax whilst re charging your batteries.

About the local area

Three miles of golden beach are literally a 5 minute walk from the cottage and Whitby has an abundance of activities and amenities to suit all the family. There are also a large selection of pubs, quaint antique and gift shops and famous fish and chip shops. There are also several restaurants that have won many awards for excellent cuisine to suit all tastes. The local tour bus is an excellent way of visiting some of Whitby's highlights including the stunning Abbey and St Mary's Church positioned on the cliff top where you can enjoy spectacular views over Whitby and out to sea. There are also many events going on all year round including Whitby's own Regatta, folk week, music weekends and Goth weekends which offer something to please everyone. If you would like to travel further afield you can visit many pretty coastal resorts dotted along the coast from Whitby including Sandsend, Runswick Bay, Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay which are all worth a day out.
