About the local area
Easington is situated between the Victorian coastal resort of Saltburn by the Sea, complete with Britain's oldest water based cliff lift transporting people down to the beach, and the bustling fishing port of Whitby with an abundance of attractions, making a perfect base from which to explore. The North York Moors steam train runs from Whitby through the pretty Moors villages of Grosmont, Goathland and Levisham, en-route to the picturesque market town of Pickering and is not to be missed. Golf, fishing, sailing, swimming and amusements are all available locally, ensuring something for everyone.
