Swallow Cottage is a delightful country retreat nestling in a rural position and surrounded by mature gardens, a stream and pond attracting many species of wildlife. Situated within the grounds of the owners home and set within 3  acres of land where free range chickens roam and produce freshly laid eggs. The cottage has been refurbished in 2009 to provide cosy and welcoming accommodation and enjoys wonderful views down the valley from the  bedroom and lounge.

Perfectly positioned for the outdoor enthusiast, the cottage enjoys excellent walking direct from the door. Lealholm, some 3 miles away provides a village store and post office, pub with restaurant, petrol garage and a railway station. From Lealholm a circular walk takes in the three dales of Eskdale, Glaisdale and Great Fryupdale, all situated within the picturesque Esk Valley.
