Bridlington & Hornsea Area

Old Town of Bridlington offers a fascinating contrast to life on the beach. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Hornsea and Withernsea, and the spectacular Heritage Coastline. Nature lovers must visit the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs, a superb day out for all the family. Here there are more than 200,000 sea birds (from April to August) that make the cliffs come alive.

There’s plenty to see and do in the area; why not visit Park Rose Pottery, Cruckley Animal Farm, Bridlington Heritage Museum, Sailing from the beach south of Bridlington, Burton Agnes Hall or perhaps Bondville Miniature Village. If you are with your family then maybe Bridlington's Leisure World, John Bull World of Rock and the Beside The Seaside Museum would be more suitable. bar for a relaxing break a bite to eat from their themed menu's and have a coffee.

A short way down the coast sits the lovely town of Hornsea which lays on the shore of Yorkshire’s largest freshwater lake, as well as boasting its own lovely seafront, with golden sands and an attractively refurbished promenade to stroll along. On Hornsea Mere, you can have a go at sailing, rowing, fishing – and it is also a haven for all kinds of birds
