North Lodge depicts the perfect picture postcard holiday cottage, constructed from Northumberland stone and standing proudly at the head of this delightful village which dates back to the Iron age.
One of four lodges on the Stanwick Estate, North Lodge was designed for the Duchess of Northumberland in 1897 for the estate gamekeeper. Recently renovated, the cottage now provides the perfect holiday home with an open fire providing a warm welcome along with a bay window to the front of the cottage commanding long distance views over the open countryside. Stanwick is situated is situated some 9 miles from the bustling Georgian market town of Richmond ensuring a perfect base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and Count Durham.
