Description

Lovely Seat is a truly delightful first floor apartment which has been recently transformed to offer luxurious accommodation for two! The lounge area is furnished with leather sofas and enjoys the warmth of a wood burning stove - perfect for those cooler evenings! A balcony, accessed from the lounge, affords the most spectacular views across the fells and hills and down the Dale towards the Buttertubs Pass leading from Swaledale to the bustling market town of Hawes in neighbouring Wensleydale. The area "Lovely Seat" can be found on the wild open moors between the two Dales and is easily accessible from the viewpoint on Buttertubs.

To add to the enjoyment of your stay, a leisure suite, complete with shower and changing facilities, along with an outdoor Hot Tub, guarantee to help you relax and unwind. Excellent walking and cycling available direct from the door, ensuring a perfect base for the outdoor enthusiast. Also perfect for wildlife enthusiasts, artists and photographers.

A zip and link bed is made up as a Super King size bed or if you prefer twin beds, you must state your requirement on booking the property. Lovely Seat is pet friendly and we would ask pet owners to take particular care both in and around the apartment to ensure other guests without pets are not disturbed and for your own peace of mind as the area is surrounded by farmland.

 

If you enjoy holidaying with friends or family but prefer your own privacy, Lovely Seat can be booked in conjunction with a second apartment - Kisdon (ref 211167) to provide accommodation for a party of 4 guests.

Sauna Room: With communal suite with sauna, changing room, shower and payphone.

Utility Room: Communal with washing machine and tumble dryer.

First Floor

Property has oil fired central heating and comprises:

Entrance Hall: Suitable for boots, coats etc and accessed via external stone steps.

Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: With wood burning stove, TV/DVD incorporating radio/CD, electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, slim line dishwasher, dining table and 4 chairs.

Bedroom: With zip "n" link bed making a super king size bed or full size twins (please request layout when booking)

Bathroom: With shower over bath, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and shaver point.

Facilities

All fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. One well behaved pet welcome.

Miscellaneous

Balcony with garden furniture accessed from lounge. Shared garden and patio. Shared hot tub beside the leisure suite. Off road parking for one car.

Please note: The leisure suite is available to guests Sunday to Friday from 10.00am to 9.00pm. It is not available on Saturdays to enable essential cleaning and maintenance to be undertaken. On days when we need to completely empty, refill and reheat the hot tub (roughly every 6 - 8 weeks) the hot tub will not be available again until at least Sunday evening depending on how long it takes to heat up. The other facilities will be available on Sunday at 10.00am as usual. If we are emptying the hot tub during your stay the owners will advise you of the situation on arrival.
