Nestling in the Yorkshire Wolds in the East Riding of Yorkshire, Bishop Burton is a picturesque village, complete with two duck ponds and white washed cottages, offering an idyllic location. Well known for its outstanding Agricultural College, the village attracts many visitors throughout the year.
The picturesque market town of Beverley is approximately 3 miles and hosts a good selection of shops, a race course and Minster. The East Yorkshire coastal resorts of Hornsea, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough are easily accessible and for those who enjoy bird watching Bempton Cliffs are home to the RSPB. There are many fine stately homes nearby including Castle Howard, Burton Agnes and Sledmere House. There is also walking on the Yorkshire Wolds (The Wolds Way) and the North Yorkshire Moors. York is less than 40 minutes away with many visitor attractions including the Minster and York Racecourse is easily accessible.
