Abbey Inn Cottage is a delightful period cottage oozing with character and charm and quietly nestling down one of Whitby's many alleyways. A cosy welcome awaits in the ground floor living area, with exposed Yorkshire stone walls and beams a main feature. The unique sleeping arrangements make the cottage more suited to families rather than couples sharing as the two single beds are accessed via the double bedroom, one of which perches on a galleried landing above the bedroom.
Conveniently situated for all amenities and the harbour, ensures a perfect base for exploring Whitby on foot. For the more adventurous, sea fishing and diving can be arranged locally, or for those who enjoy history, Whitby Abbey accessed by the famous 199 steps from the old town, Captain Cook Memorial Museum and Whitby Museum at Pannet Park are all worth a visit. Or for those who simply wish to relax there are beaches and foreshore's where fossils and ammonites can be found, or enjoy a leisurely ride on the Steam Train from Whitby which meanders through the dramatic scenery of the North York Moors villages of Grosmont, Goathland and Levisham, en route to the bustling market town of Pickering.
