The views from the rear of the cottage look out towards the River Swale and countryside beyond, and a quiet patio area to the front is the ideal spot to enjoy when the weather allows. With Gunnerside just under a mile away, a walk to the nearest pub isn't far, and Muker in the other direction has a tea room and shop.This is an ideal spot for walkers, cyclists, mountain bikers and horse riders to head out and explore with an abundance of walks and trails across stunning scenery just waiting to be enjoyed. For those wishing to venture further, Reeth is a short drive away where you may experience craft workshops and many seasonal events and the market town of Richmond, home to one of the oldest Norman fortresses set above the River Swale is a delightful place to explore. Hawes in neighbouring Wensleydale can also be accessed via the stunning Buttertubs Pass for those wishing to sample famous local cheeses and markets in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
