Nearby Kiplingcotes holds one of the oldest horse races on the third Thursday each March, covering a 4 mile course and crossing local country roads. Also conveniently situated for exploring the bustling resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey and Hornsea on the picturesque East Yorkshire coastline and the historic City of York easily accessible.
