There is oil fired central heating and a woodburner in the lounge provides extra warmth during chilly evenings. A porch to the front acts as a perfect boot room for walking gear. Walks for any ability may be found direct from the doorstep, and the cottage provided the ideal base for a walking holiday with the Pennine Way passing through nearby Hawes. Sedbusk is just over 2 miles from the bustling market town where you will find a wealth of amenities such as shops, pubs and restaurants along with craft museums such as the Ropemakers and the Dales Museum not to mention the Wensleydale Creamery producing a variety of world famous cheeses on site for you to sample. Hardraw Force, England’s longest single drop waterfall is a short distance from the cottage and worthy of a visit. For those wishing to venture further the ‘Buttertubs’ Pass is a route through stunning scenery taking you into the quaint village of Muker in Swaledale and is not to be missed!
