The cosy cottage is situated adjacent to the historic 18th century Georgian Melbourne Hall standing in over 80 acres of private parkland and woodland and is accessed along a private sweeping driveway of some 500 metres from the highway. There is a local village with store and within a 4 mile radius a number of public houses offering an excellent range of good dining choices and to suit all budgets.  Within 4 miles of the property there are two golf courses and the Wolds Gliding Club

The accommodation which underwent a complete refurbishment in 2010 comprises a dining kitchen, lounge with French windows which give access to a private enclosed patio area overlooking the original walled garden, bedroom and en-suite shower room.
