Acrewood is a truly superb property, formerly a barn and cottage which was merged and renovated to a particularly high standard, enjoying a mixture of contemporary and traditional features including the warmth and comfort of under floor heating throughout. The kitchen is huge and along with the necessary requirements it boasts a large range style cooker with induction hobs, double oven and warming oven and an American style fridge/freezer in the adjacent utility room, ensuring ease whilst catering for the larger party. This room is open to the eaves of the property with an abundance of exposed trusses and lighting features. The main lounge is very spacious too with the focal point being a large inglenook stone fireplace complete with black cast iron wood burning stove, comfortable seating and a large 50” flat screen TV, whilst a second sitting room provides a slightly smaller TV and X box – a perfect retreat for the kids or young at heart! Within Acrewood a central vacuum system running throughout the house is just one of its hi-tec features. All the bedrooms are luxuriously furnished with sleigh beds and the two master rooms on the first floor have en-suite facilities, one of which has a Jacuzzi bath. Large grounds surround the property with ample private parking space for half a dozen cars, lawned gardens, a paved patio with garden furniture and BBQ and most important of all, electric gates ensuring the complete safety for children.

Situated in the heart of the Wolds village of Wetwang, Acrewood is a perfect base from which to explore the area, with the bustling coastal resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey and Hornsea all easily accessible and each offering attractions to suit all ages. The area is especially good for those who enjoy walking, or for those enjoying history there are numerous country houses in the surrounding area to include Sledmere House, Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Castle Howard and The Walled Garden at Scamston and the beautiful City of York is only a 30 minute drive away.
