Description
Mulberry Cottage is a converted barn nestling on a working farm, in the picturesque, quiet village of Skerne near Driffield. The cottage has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a modern standard and offers comfortable accommodation that is ideal for families. This family run farm has been in the hands of the owners for the past four generations and has all the farmyard animals you could think of including, cows, calves, sheep, lambs, horses, ponies, geese and chickens. Families are welcome to help the owner at feeding times and to collect the eggs. There is a large garden and tennis court available with garden furniture to sit out and relax and enjoy the afternoon sun, or why not explore the 450 acres of land with some lovely riverside walks.

About the local area
The market towns of Beverley and Driffield are only a short drive away where you can visit the stately homes of Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall and enjoy a bit of history or there are plenty od activities close by for all the family including water sports, tennis and golf. Beverley with its stunning Gothic Cathedral is only half an hour away where you can enjoy a day at the races. Driffield is only 2 miles away and has numerous shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from. The coastal resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington and Hornsea are all slightly further away but well worth a day out.
