Situated within the pretty village of Foston on the Wolds, the apartment is conveniently situated for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, the East Yorkshire coastal resorts of Hornsea, Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough, the North York Moors and of course the historic City of York. Cruckley Farm can also be found in Foston, a traditional family run farm offering a true countryside experience with a large variety of animals including lambs, goats, piglets, chickens, donkeys and many more. In season, daily milking sessions are held and you may help hand feed the lambs in spring. Also in the immediate area, golf and fishing are available close by, with the bustling market towns of Driffield and Beverly easily accessible and Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall are also well worth a visit. The Wolds Way is very popular with walkers and cyclists and for bird watchers, Bempton bird sanctuary and Blacktoft Sands on the Humber estuary attract many species.
