Description

Set within a large estate approximately 3 miles from the market town of Skipton, Love Cottage provides the perfect setting for that special romantic retreat. The cottage is on the first floor of a converted barn which dates back to the 1600's and retains character features such as stone mullioned windows original beams. Tastefully renovated, the cottage provides a stunning bedroom open to the eaves with four poster bed and spa bath.

Something to suit every taste can be found in this area of the Yorkshire Dales. The River Aire meanders close to the cottage with complimentary fishing rights for guests. The cottage is on and estate, which you are free to walk around and there are many public footpath walks close to the cottage, along with the canal bank which leads you into Gargrave and to Skipton.The small town of Gargrave is around 2 miles away providing basic amenities, pubs and shops, and Skipton - otherwise known as the ' Gateway to the Dales' is just 3 miles away offering a 4 day market and medieval castle along with many restaurants, shops and tea rooms. Malham, Grassington and further into the Yorkshire Dales can also be easily accessed from the cottage.
