Description

Corner Cottage is in the heart of Muker at the foot of Kisdon. The cottage is just a few yards from the start of one of Swaledale’s most popular walks. The first floor lounge has a wood burner with an unlimited supply of logs and a spiral staircase to the ground floor. The first floor also has a single bedroom and bathroom. There is a dining room, a well equipped modern kitchen and utility area, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with a walk in shower. Muker has a village shop and cafe and the popular Farmer’s Arms pub. There is also a gallery and wool shop in the village just a few yards away. The cottage is equipped with unlimited broadband Wi-Fi. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Garden, out building with a supply of logs for the stove. On street parking to the rear of the property.  The most convenient access to the property is to the rear through a yard area on ground floor level.  The spiral staircase is steep and not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

The cottage is very conveniently situated in a quiet, central location, and a mere 200 yards from the tea room, village shop, pub - serving very good food and gallery/crafts shop and hand knitted woolens shop in Muker.  A fantastic base for discovering the beautiful upper Yorkshire Dales.

Richmond Castle

Completed in 1399, Bolton Castle has a rich past including connections with Richard III and Mary Queen of Scots who was imprisoned here in 1568 under orders from Elizabeth I. Open all year round.
