Reeth

Situated at the junction of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale, two of North Yorkshire's stunning dales, Reeth is the perfect location for a walking holiday or a gentle country break.

Visitors to Reeth can enjoy an outdoor market on the green each Friday, as well as gift shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. This pretty English town has plenty to offer.

From challenging trails over the hilltops to meandering riverside and country rambles, the nature lover will be in their element when staying at Reeth. The village green, which surrounded by 18th Century houses, is the focal point of many of the local events that take place all year round.

The gentle slopes of Swaledale wind their way towards Swaledale to Richmond, while Arkengarthdale is thought to be the more peaceful and unexplored dale of the two. Where these areas merge, the village of Reeth was formed - it was originally built to meet the requirements of the local farming community.
