Situated in peaceful Swaledale between the villages of Muker and Thwaite and only 6 miles from Hawes. Scarr House Farm and adjacent barn have been combined to offer superb holiday accommodation with 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 shower rooms, which is perfect for family gatherings and groups of friends sharing! The spacious lounge with polished wood floors, beamed ceiling and open fire is warm and welcoming with views over the open countryside to the front and rear. A large enclosed garden and paved patio is perfect for children as well as adults who can relax and enjoy a barbecue whilst admiring the views of the dale. The ground floor offers wheelchair access along with a bedroom and spacious wet room.

Property has oil fired central heating and comprises:
Lounge: With open fire (initial supply of fuel only provided), TV with Freeview package, DVD, radio and payphone.
Kitchen/Diner: With range style electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
Utility room: With washing machine and tumble dryer.
Bedroom 1: With single bed and pullout bed (additional charge of £25, bed linen is provided).
Wet Room: With shower, WC, wash basin and radiator.

Bedroom 2: With  king size bed, TV and en suite with shower over bath, WC. wash basin, radiator and shaver point.
Bedroom 3: With twin beds, TV and en suite with shower cubicle, WC, wash basin, radiator and shaver point.

All oil, electric, bed linen and towels included. An initial supply of logs for the open fire, any additional supplies required will have to be purchased. Traditional cot and high chair provided. Internet access available.

The village of Muker is approximately 1 mile from the property where you can find a village store, pub, tea rooms and Swaledale Woollens which attracts customers from far a field. The cottage is a perfect base for exploring the numerous villages in Swaledale, including Reeth, known as the "capital" of the dale, and Wensleydale, the bustling market town of Hawes easily accessible via the picturesque route "Buttertubs".

Richmond Castle

Completed in 1399, Bolton Castle has a rich past including connections with Richard III and Mary Queen of Scots who was imprisoned here in 1568 under orders from Elizabeth I. Open all year round.
