Located just 2.5 miles from the popular village of Askrigg, in the small village of Woodhall is 'Bloomer's Bothy'. This quaint studio apartment has been carefully converted by the owners to provide the perfect escape with stunning views across the Dales to Addleburgh.

The accommodation itself provides a spacious bedroom area which can be segregated from the rest of the apartment by a curtain if so desired. The lounge area boasts a wonderful solid fuel stove for which all the fuel will be provided, and the kitchen is well equipped providing everything that you are likely to need to make your holiday memorable and enjoyable. Woodhall is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, making the ideal base for exploring the area. The area is perfect for walking and cycling, and the owners can offer a storage area for your bicycles upon request. The James Herriot fans amongst you can seek out 'Darrowby' as you explore the streets of Askrigg. Aysgarth Falls are just a short distance away, or you may wish to discover Burton Force water fall in the picturesque village of West Burton. The historians amongst you may be interested in a visit to Castle Bolton where Mary Queen of Scotts was imprisoned for six months.
