About the local area
Hunton is situated between the bustling market towns of Leyburn and Bedale at the easterly end of the Dales, complete with village shop, post office, pub with restaurant and a children's play area. Excellent walking and hiking can be enjoyed in the immediate area with the neighbouring Yorkshire Dales National Park providing a myriad of footpaths and bridleways. From the village, the A1 is close by providing easy access to the North York Moors, the historic cities of York and Ripon and very fashionable Spa town of Harrogate.
