The cottage is extremely well equipped with wood burning stove in the lounge, and large range cooker in the kitchen providing both gas and electric hobs, together with double oven and grill, ideal for guests who wish to experiment with their culinary skills. The bedroom provides a relaxing oasis, and there is a separate dressing room with ample storage space. The terraced garden is fully enclosed and provides a relaxing haven with its Koi pond, and original well. There is a bistro table ideal for that afternoon tea for two, perfect for alfresco dining on those balmy summer evenings.

Finghall is perfectly positioned for exploring this exciting area, the stunning Wensleydale countryside is on the doorstep with its mile upon mile of winding paths and dry stone walls. The popular market town of Leyburn is just 6 miles away and offers a wide selection of gift shops, tearooms and delicatessen selling local products, all pleasantly scattered around the picturesque cobbled market square.
The area is perfect for walking and cycling, and is steeped in history with Middleham Castle, and Castle Bolton where Mary Queen of Scots was held for six weeks. The awe inspiring water falls at Aysgarth are well worth a visit, and there are many other tourist attractions in the area. The wonderful cathedral cities of Ripon and York are both within easy reach, and the spa town of Harrogate is well worth a visit with its famous well kempt gardens and magnificent architecture, providing the perfect backdrop for that up market shopping experience that it provides, and not forgetting the famous Betty’s Tearooms, a true Yorkshire treat.
