With delightful views from the lounge, kitchen and dining room, this extensive second floor apartment provides self catering accommodation to an excellent standard in the heart of the popular market town of Leyburn. The living accommodation is at the front of the cottage to make best use of the views towards Pen Hill and beyond. Two spacious double bedrooms to the rear, a twin room to the front, one room has en-suite shower facilities and all rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated with good quality linens and mattresses ensuring an excellent nights’ sleep. The kitchen, with fully integrated appliances is also spacious and well equipped, and a tumble dryer has been added in the entrance area for your convenience. The apartment is an excellent base to simply unwind after a day of rambling or exploring the area.

About the local area

Guests have no distance to travel for amenities such as pubs, restaurants or shops, with the centre of Leyburn just a 2 minute walk away. Leyburn holds a weekly market every Friday and has many attractions to visit including the Wensleydale Railway providing seasonal steam train rides towards Redmire. For those who enjoy sampling local produce, Leyburn holds a food festival in May and The Little Chocolate Shop is a short distance from the cottage where you may watch delicious chocolates being made. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is on the doorstep where you may enjoy walking, mountain biking, cycling or horse riding. For those wishing to travel further the towns of Hawes, Masham and Bedale are just a scenic drive away.

Reeth, in the heart of Swaledale is a honey pot for locals and tourists. It lies where two of North Yorkshire's finest dales meet.
