A good selection of shops and tea rooms surround the market square and only a short stroll will take you to the Black Sheep and Theakston Breweries, complete with visitor centre, bistro and brewery tours! Masham holds an outdoor market on the market square each Wednesday attracting visitors from far and wide. Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Masham makes a perfect base from which to explore the area with the Cities of Ripon and York, both featuring race courses, easily accessible along with The Yorkshire Dales National Park where an abundance of footpath walks cross the stunning scenery.
