The cottage offers excellent walking from the doorstep, and there are many tourist attractions in the area including Aysgarth Falls, the Wensleydale Creamery and Askrigg village - James Herriot's 'Darrowby'. You can take life at a slightly slower pace and travel on a vintage Dales bus or enjoy a steam train ride through the Yorkshire Dales on the Wensleydale railway. The traditional Dales town of Leyburn is just 5 miles away with its local produce market, pubs, restaurants and tearooms. However you like to spend your holiday, you are sure to enjoy all that the area has to offer, as this welcoming cottage forms the ideal base for any Dales holiday.
