Centrally positioned in the heart of the delightful Dales village of Masham, Mill Cottage is situated on the main road opposite the village bakery and only a short stroll from the Market Square. Masham - famous for its annual Sheep fare and two breweries houses a good selection of shops, pubs and eateries, along with an outdoor market each Wednesday and is situated on the Eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Theakston and Black Sheep breweries, complete with visitor centres including viewing the brewing area, bistro area and shop, are close by and attract visitors all year round. The area is excellent for walking and hiking and perfect for exploring the numerous delights of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

For those wishing to venture a little further, the historic City of Ripon, complete with cathedral, shopping centre and race course is a twenty minute drive away and the fashionable Spa town of Harrogate a little further beyond.

Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Masham makes a perfect base from which to explore the area with the Cities of Ripon and York, both featuring race courses, easily accessible along with The Yorkshire Dales National Park where an abundance of footpath walks cross the stunning scenery.
