Situated in the attractive village of Bainbridge in the heart of Wensleydale, Riverdale Cottage is a delightful attached property overlooking the village green. The cottage is part of a recent conversion of the former Riverdale Hotel and now provides excellent accommodation for families or couples. The open plan design is spacious and welcoming and the open fire in the lounge area is perfect for those winter evenings.

The property is heated by oil fired central heating and comprises:

All electric, heating, bed linen and towels included. (Initial supply of fuel for open fire only).

About the local area
Bainbridge is an ideal base to begin your Dales holiday. The village is well-equipped with a pub serving food, butcher, tea room, garage and a bus service from the popular market towns of Leyburn and Hawes. Leyburn is a bustling market town with many shops, tea rooms and restaurants, and Hawes is a popular town housing the world famous Wensleydale Creamery - well worthy of a visit. Footpath and more challenging walks can be found from the doorstep, and there are delightful riverside walks at nearby Aysgarth Falls.

We loved the cottage, and the location. Really nice to overlook the village green. It was easily the most well equipped cottage we've stayed in - absolutely ANYTHING you could want or need is provided! I particularly loved the great selection of books and information about the local area that was provided. Our dogs loved their stay here too!
