Worton has a village pub, the Victoria Arms, a quirky but friendly public house run by the same owners since 1956. The pub bears more resemblance to a front room, but is ideal for stopping off for a well earned pint of ale after a walk in the surrounding area. Also Springwood is perfectly positioned for exploring the Dales with the bustling market towns of Leyburn and Hawes easily accessible, each offering and excellent selection of shops, pubs, tearooms and craft work shops. Nearby Aysgarth offers the most dramatic waterfalls surrounded by woodland walks and is home to the Yorkshire Dales National Park Visitor Centre offering an abundance of information for the immediate area, ensuring a perfect location for the outdoor enthusiast.

The property was very clean, functional and comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. Unfortunately we forgot to write in the visitors book but I would like our comments to be passed onto the owners that we thoroughly enjoyed our week at Springwood.
Delightful position, central for lots of lovely places and walks,
very well equipped with the open fire and provision of coal and logs.
Very good, plenty space for parking, near enough to main road but not too close, three 3g signal! but not O2 phone signal, nice shower in ensuite though watch out if the light bulb goes as the new style trip switches need to be reset in garage (simple to do) and same as all new properties, make a note of the torch location!
