Description
Situated just half a mile outside the bustling market town of Leyburn, The Barn provides self catering accommodation to an excellent standard with beautiful furnishings and décor creating a true home from home feel. The former barn is completely on ground floor level, with a spacious open plan living area with beamed ceiling and a multi fuel stove providing extra warmth in the evenings. Delightful views across the rugby pitch towards Middleham and Pen Hill can be seen from the cottage and an enclosed gravelled seating area provides the perfect area to sit in the evenings and enjoy these views across Wensleydale.

Property has oil fired central heating and comprises:
Open plan Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: With beams, multi fuel stove, flat screen TV, DVD, radio/CD. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher. Dining are with table and 4 chairs.
Bedroom 1: With double bed
Bedroom 2: With single bed (and pullout bed for 4th guest if required).
Bathroom: With shower over bath, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and shaver adaptor.
Facilities
Starter pack of logs for stove provided. All fuel, power, bed linen included.
Miscellaneous
One well behaved pet welcome. Gravelled patio area with garden furniture. Ample private parking.

About the local area
Leyburn is just half a mile away offering an abundance of amenities including shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, not to mention visitor attractions including the Wensleydale Railway and the Little Chocolate Shop. Walks can be accessed from Leyburn onto ‘The Shawl’ offering stunning views across the valley. The village of Wensley is also around half a mile away with pub serving food. The area makes for the perfect base for walkers with the National Park on the doorstep. Other local attractions include Middleham Castle, the Forbidden Corner, and Aysgarth Falls with visitor centre. A delightful holiday cottage and perfect for a break at any time of the year.
