Conveniently situated in the heart of the bustling market town of Hawes, Watchmaker’s Cottage is a delightful character cottage providing self catering accommodation to an excellent standard. The lounge benefits from the warmth and comfort of an open fire and leather seating, and a separate dining room, kitchen and utility room give a feeling of spaciousness. The cottage is fully equipped and in a superb location making it ideal for small families or a couple, and a garden area to the rear provides an enclosed space for children or pets.
With oil fired central heating and comprising:
Lounge: with inglenook fireplace with multi fuel stove (started pack of fuel supplied), TV, DVD, radio/CD.
Dining Room. Steps leading down to:-
Kitchen: with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with icebox.
Utility Room: with freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: with King size bed.
Bedroom 2: with single bed with pull out guest bed (which can be raised to normal height to make a king size bed or 2 separate single beds).
Bathroom: with shower over bath, WC, basin, heater and shaver adaptor available.
All fuel for central heating, power, starter pack for fire, bed linen and towels provided. One well behaved pet welcome. High chair and travel cot available.
Enclosed lawned area to rear with garden furniture. Parking to front for one car on a first come first served basis. Please note: there are stone steps in the cottage.

Hawes is a delightful market town providing an ideal base to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with a wide variety of amenities including shops, tea rooms, pubs and visitor attractions to discover. The Wensleydale Creamery is a must see, where you may sample the delicious locally made cheeses and observe the production process. Local crafts such as Rope making and pottery may also be discovered in the town. From Hawes, an abundance of walking, hiking, mountain biking, climbing and horse riding may be planned making it the perfect choice for the outdoor enthusiast. The Pennine Way passes through Hawes en-route to Scotland, and there are many local walks around Hawes past waterfalls including Aysgill or Hardraw Force – a joy for photographers or artists. Excellent furnishings, kitchen supplies and fuel for the fire. Excellent shopping and walks from the front door.
We were thrilled with the cottage, the pictures and description on te website were very accurate. The cottage was extremely well equipped and the fantastic fire ensured that we didn't want to venture far at night!!
