Swaledale Festival

Summer starts with the Swaledale Festival, an annual celebration of music, arts and magnificent scenery.

The Festival presents a fortnight of musical delights and wonderful walking, and hosts top-class musicians from around the world - Russia, Palestine, South Korea, the Czech Republic, Canada, and of course Yorkshire. From solo violinists to jazz guitarists, folk groups to brass bands, Arabic music to string quartets, there is music for every taste – and a programme of guided walks.

The Festival runs for two weeks starting at the Spring Bank Holiday each year. You can be sure of a fabulous time at the Swaledale Festival.
