Whitby Folk Week

In late August each year Whitby, usually renowned for its rugged coastline and beautiful beaches, hosts 7 days of concerts, traditional singing and dancing in the streets for the annual Whitby Folk Week.

There are hundreds of events running throughout the week, from Morris Dancers to jamming musicians who take their act around to the local pubs and perform for the patrons inside. Running around the coastal town for more than 40 years and with no sign of slowing down the Whitby Folk Week is a fantastic experience for any getaway in Yorkshire!
