Located just over the border from Cumbria into North Yorkshire the Ribblehead Viaduct is one of the most famous structures in England. This impressive Grade II listed viaduct was built by railway workers between 1870 and 1874 and is made up of over twenty arches which provide the track for the Settle to Carlisle railway over Ribblehead.

It attracts many walkers to the area because of its striking beauty and the fact that it is on the route of the Yorkshire Three Peaks walk.
