There are plenty of great places to enjoy rock climbing in Yorkshire, including the famous threesome of Kilnsey, Malham Cove and Gordale Scar.

A lot of the limestone cliffs that predominate in Yorkshire offer challenging climbing for more experienced climbers, whereas the gritstone outcrops such as Brimham Rocks, Almscliff and the Cow and Calf at Ilkley are maybe more suited to beginners.

Climbing enthusiasts need to head for the Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales where we have plenty of accommodation ideally placed.
