The area is excellent for keen walkers, dog owners and cyclists with the famous 170 mile Coast to Coast way of the Roses cycle trail starting at Morecambe and ending in Bridlington. the famous Wolds Way walk can be accessed just 10 minutes away for keen ramblers and you can come and visit the stunning landscapes close by that inspired artist, David Hockney to paint this beautiful part of East Yorkshire. The area is also a haven for keen bird watchers with the well known RSPB cliff top sanctuary at Bempton just a short drive away. Perched high on the cliffs above Bridlington Bay is Sewerby Hall and Gardens, which is a great day out. You can also visit the historic houses of Burton Agnes and Sledmere House that are slightly further away
