Just a few minutes drive there’s Bridlington that also has a famous Spa Theatre which hosts lots of events, dance, music, theatre, pantomime and more. Down the east coast most of the beaches boast the clean beach flag award so a perfect place to take the family. Filey with it’s Victorian promenade and the donkey rides for the kids along the long stretch of fine sand. Filey is also the end of the Cleveland Way Walk and you’ll see many a weary walker reaching the Brigg at the end of their hike. For a livelier resort visit Scarborough or Bridlington both with lot’s of exciting activities and attractions as well as plenty of places to eat out.
