With a large enclosed garden, including a lawn to the rear of the property, as well as a patio to the front, it is ideal for unwinding on a summer evening, enjoying a barbecue together or slipping into the swirling water of your own private hot tub.

Inside, you have a well-equipped kitchen where you can create lovingly made home cooked meals together. There is a large, open-plan living/dining room with glass doors opening out onto the patio, bathing the room in light. If you are keen on fishing, you can fish from the beach or hire a day trip on a boat from the harbour. Bring your catch back and cook it for tea on the barbecue.

Nearby you have the impressive Georgian stately home of Sewerby Hall with its beautiful gardens. There are golf courses at Sewerby for pitch and putt, or a proper round if you fancy playing golf. There are family attractions at the Bridlington Leisure Centre a short distance away, including a swimming pool with fun slides and the clip and climb walls. The Bridlington Spa hosts many shows, or meet the creatures at Bridlington Animal Park. From the harbour there are several boat trips, from the fast and furious to bird spotting tours.

For avid nature lovers, walkers and those who love the outdoors, there’s Danes Dyke, South Landing, Flamborough Head and light house, and Bempton Cliff RSPB Nature Reserve not far away, with the Yorkshire Wolds and Yorkshire Moors a little further. Locally, there are several houses of historic interest, including Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall. Scarborough is not far away, where you can watch the motorbike racing at Oliver Mount, go to the Stephen Joseph Theatre or the Open Air Theatre. About the local area

Part of the Yorkshire Heritage Coast, the area around Bridlington and Hornsea is rich in areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bridlington is renowned for its award winning beaches. Hire a beach chalet and let the children enjoy the fun at Kiddies Corner, or take a trip on the Land Train to Sewerby Hall and Gardens.

An impressive country house with acres of gardens to explore, Sewerby is also home to a small zoo where children are sure to delight in the popular Humboldt Penguins. Wet weather is never a problem, with plenty of amusement arcades along the seafront and Leisureworld, which boasts an indoor fun pool, complete with waves and waterslides.

Fourteen miles south of Bridlington is the little seaside town of Hornsea, housing a pottery museum and Bettison's Folly, a Grade II listed tower, while nearby Hornsea Mere offers sailing and fishing.

North of Bridlington is Flamborough Head, a chalk headland with the oldest lighthouse in Britain, which was built in 1674 but never used. There is also a newer, working lighthouse, where you can climb the 119 stairs and admire the extensive views. This is a Special Area of Conservation and a birdwatcher's paradise, with its regular visitors of gannets and puffins.

Danes Dyke at Flamborough is a massive flat topped bank and ditch that cuts through the headland. Believed to have been built as a defensive structure, it dates back to the iron age and is now a nature reserve, offering the visitor a series of walks and nature trails to explore.
