East Wing is a delightful cottage positioned in a secluded area next to the Old Mill in the picturesque village of West Ayton, the village boasts two pubs and a fish restaurant, and is on the edge of Forge Valley in a select area of the National Park.  Situated in the countryside but only 4 miles from the sea.  It has been beautifully furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard offering excellent snug accommodation for couples and families. The well maintained grounds with a tennis court at the rear of the property are ideal to enjoy on a relaxing summers day. The property also overlooks the 13th century Ayton Castle and has stunning views down the valley and of open countryside. It is a haven for walkers and cyclists with the Forge Valley pathway passing just outside the grounds of the property. Beach 4 miles. Pub and restaurant 500 yards.

The coastal resort of Scarborough is only 4 miles away and has a great selection of shops, tea rooms, inns and restaurants. The North York Moor National Park areas and Dalby forest area also close by and a great place to visit for outdoor enthusiasts with some excellent pathways and cycle tracks. The beautiful coastal resorts of Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby are less than 20 miles away and are well worth a visit.
